Scroll Bar

Im new to VB so please don't think this is a stupid question, but how do you get to change the apperance of the scroll bars? Im tired of the plain old gray look. I would like to change their color or get a kind of fade look going. Can you help me?

hmm, I really don't know but I would guess if you were to maybe fool around with vscroll.backcolor = "whatever" you might get SOMETHING to change colors...wish I could help more but that's the best little old me can come up with...

You can't change the colors of a scroll bar without sublclassing it or changing the systems metrics.
Since you're new to VB these topics are far too advanced for you.
What you could do is create you own scroll bar using picture boxes and some simple code and even compile it into your own ActiveX control maybe.
