Ocr?!?

Hello beautiful people... I am working on a project for fun basically to gain more knowledge and I want to figure out how to use OCR... I would like beable to reconize text from a verification image which I am sure all of you have seen before... and put that into a string...

The whole point of those images is that a computer cant recognise them. I think youll find it hard to do that. OCR is hard enough as it is.

If you really want to try out OCR then scan in some of your handwriting or even better use a set font on the PC. This will help you get started.

I wouldnt bother trying to make something advanced enough to recognise on of those verification images. They use all kinds of fonts and skewed letters and numbers in all different sizes. Even if you did make something clever enough to do that im not sure if its even legal
