annoying form designer in Vista

Hi,

Has any of you have any experience with VB5.0 or 6.0 under Vista?
When resizing controls on a form, the size-rectangle is hardly visible or flashing like a maniac.

Is there any solution available for this?

You'll want to set "Disable desktop composition" in VB6.EXE's Properties, under Compatability. Sadly you'll get those wacky popups about how Aero has been turned off, but it takes care of the issue.

I've also given in and always run it elevated now too, which means logging in as an admin user to avoid entering and re-entering an admin user/pw whenever I open VB6.
