VBA Combo Box Issue

Hello,

I have created an excel sheet and added a combo box.
I right mouse clicked over the combo box and selected "Format Control".
However, the "Control" tab does not appear.
I am running Excel Version: Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003
Does any one know why I am missing the Control tab and how do I get it to display?

I might not be understanding your question, but I don't recall a 'Control' tab in the Format dialog (and I don't get one either... running the same version as you are) - are you looking for other properties? If so select Properties from the right-mouse popup menu :)

There are different types of combo boxes in Excel....

The one you have added is from the "control toolbox". There will be only four tabs: Size / Protection / Properties / Web.

If you add a a combobox from the "Forms" toolbar (View--> Toolbars --> Forms) then when you right click on it and go to format control there will be five tabs: Size / Protection / Properties / Web / Control. I think this must be the one you are after.
