Hello,

I have created an excel sheet with a combo box on each row.
The combo box is getting it's data from a range of cells on my Excel sheet (example below).

I need to have 50 rows on my sheet containing the same combo box.

How do I create a relative reference for the combo boxes instead of having to
edit each combo box and change the Cell Link?

Example:
Input Range: $O$12:$O$16
Cell Link: $E$10

Please post Excel questions, in the Excel forum.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have created a combo box on my Excel sheet from the Forms menu.
It contains possible priorities of: Low, Medium, High, Emergency.
This combo box gets its data from a range of cells (see below).

Input Range: $N$12:$N$14
Cell Link: $D$13

I need to copy this row 50 times. How do I create a relative reference instead of an absolute reference or...
do I need to edit the combo box on each row and update the Cell Link.

I wouldn't use combo-boxes. I'd use Data Validation. Make it to list. Set the source list to N12:N14 (without the dollar signs, so the references are relative, rather than absolute).

Copy that cell down and it should do what you're wanting.
