Protect Button Controls

I have protected my worksheets and the workbook. I have buttons controls that are protected but excel allows them to be moved even though they are protected. Am i missing something? Is there a work around?

You mean that users are able to move them around, I assume, as opposed to them moving in line with cells moving underneath them?

When you protected the worksheet did you tick the Edit objects option?
If you did then untick it.

Else, which version of Excel are you using?

That did it. I wasnt sure what that option did. Figure it would stop editing of cells too.

Version is Office Excel 200
