What is a scenario object, and how might it be of use?

What is a scenario object? Excel Help states:


Represents a scenario on a worksheet. A scenario is a group of input values (called changing cells) that’s named and saved. The Scenario object is a member of the Scenarios collection. The Scenarios collection contains all the defined scenarios for a worksheet.


which isn't very informative.

Still, from that brief description, it sounds as if it might be useful in the future, so I am curious to know more. I took a look online but could only find a 20-page Word document which is more than I need to know...anyone have any (brief) examples?

You might find better information if you use the normal Excel helpfile (non-VBA) and look at the Scenarios chapter (start with "About scenarios")
