I'm at, what I *think*, is the current version of the VB 6 runtime. Anyways, I've noticed that simply resizing a form is really slow and takes up 100% of the CPU. Isn't that strange? I'm talking about a blank project, no code at all. This is just a "Standard EXE" with the default form present, and them compiled. This is even simpler than a "hello world" with a button.
