Hi,
I would like to know if its possible to do the following:
I run a report of my system, this report has the following headers:
Start End Lead Booking Ref No Of Pax Rooms Room Type Overseas Comments
12-Apr-10 17-Apr-10 Adult1 A007686 2*Adults*0*Children 1 Double Room (1 dbl bed ) Coach
The above would sit in columns A to H respectivly
I need to use this information to build a second worksheet as follows:
The second sheet is used as a calendar view so has the following headings:
Day Thu Fri Sat Sun Mon Tue
Date 01 April 2010 02 April 2010 03 April 2010 04 April 2010 05 April 2010 06 April 2010
what I need to do is take the data from sheet 2 and populate sheet 1 in 2 ways, the first is to siply add a new row in sheet 1 for each instance off a row in sheet 2. The tricky part is that sheet 2 has start and end dates. I need to somehow read the start and end dates from sheet 2 and add them to the appropriate calander period in sheet 2.
This will then produce a user view of which bookings exist across any given date band.
Sheet 2 will be created as a template and then refreshed to allow users to view on a daily/hourly basis.
See attached example of what I am trying to get to.
