I am writing a VB 6 app that uses Oracle 8.0.6 as it's database. I also have links to from Oracle to a DB2 database. My problem is this:

In VB, I am doing a select statement in order to populate a recordset. On the "straight Oracle" calls it works perfectly. On the calls that hit the DB2 tables, I am getting the following errors: ORA-02070-Database DB2P does not support ROWIDs in this context. ORA-0263-Preceding line from DMIS2SQL2. I have had one of our DBA's trace my session and was told that although I am not explicitly selecting ROWIDs, that they are being selected which seems to be causing my error. I have tried selecting ALL column names from the table to eliminate the need for the ROWID to be selected, but to no avail. If anyone has ANY ideas, I would be willing to try ANYTHING!! Please help!!
