Please help a poor beginner with his first userform

Hey Folks,

Great site you have here. I just completed my first userform and spreadsheet to attempt to do a small project but I have two huge drawbacks from what I did. First I can live without...I can not get the print form button I created to print the whole form on one page. I did TONS of research and was able to finally get it to one page but I can only print what is in the scroll section.

Second one I would be happy to offer up some financial compensation if someone can make the form do what I want. I have been trying but not with any real success of putting buttons at the top of the page that will show the first, last, next and previous rows of data that have already been entered into the spreadsheet via the form data input. Basically I want to be able to browse and retrieve the already inputted data so I can edit that info or just view it easily in the form when needed.

Please PM me with anyone that thinks they can help and I will happily email you the file.

Thanks,

Charlie

Welcome to the forum, Charlie. :)

I've got to sidetrack for a moment and bring you up to speed with how this forum operates.

I would be happy to offer up some financial compensation if someone can make the form do what I want.

This is a free help forum so please do not offer money in return for help. This also means that we will only provide pointers and not actually do the work for you. If you want to pay a developer to do this work for you then a site such as rentacoder would be a better bet for you.

Please PM me with anyone that thinks they can help

Please do not ask to resolve issues privately. This is a public discussion forum and therefore discussions should be kept on the public boards. Doing it that way is better for you because more people who may be able to help you can contribute; it is also better for everyone else because if they have the same problem as you then they can reference the public solution.

I will happily email you the file

If you wish to do so, you can zip and attach your workbook directly to the thread for everyone to see. If you do this, please ensure the VBA project is unprotected and that no code will automatically run when the workbook is opened.

For more information on all of this please have a look at these threads:

Okay... with the 'housekeeping' aside let's try to help you out - let's concentrate on the main thing you want! :)

This sounds like it should be straightforward enough. I think the best thing would be for you to post the code you tried together with the issues you're having (including error messages etc...), and then we should be able to give you some pointers on where the problems are?

Hope that helps...

I am attaching the spreadsheet I created with the userform. I had started to do the first next etc thing by using a brief description from an online poster as to how it was done but had to start removing it. I have another copy of the file right before I added the buttons across the top and the Print button and started messing with the code for that. That first file works perfectly for collecting the data.

Again I apologize for the first post. I did not know this forum did not allow some of it's users to take any financial appreciation. I have really enjoyed making this form so far and think I can figure the rest out if I could please get some guidance from some more experienced people here.

Thank you,

Charlie
