What is the procedure to sign an ActiveX control that will be downloaded from the web ?

You have to buy a digital signature. Verisign was the original,
but there are other companies now.

Not sure, but they put your company though a serious investigation
so that they can guarantee if you use the digital signature, it will
be reliable. And I am sure it is expensive.
