I've finished a stand-alone app that simply references some tables housed in access97. I want to distribute it on disk or EMAIL, so I want it to be small. Durring Pakaging The PDW asks me to select the DAO Driver. I'm only using an ADO Data Control and expect to see OLE DB which isn't there. The app seems to works fine on all systems when I slelct Jet, ODBC with Jet and ODBC, but the app is 9 Cabs. When I only selected the Jet Driver, my app was 3 cabs and worked fine on some systems but the error "Provider could not be found" appeared on others.

Can anyone help? What is the smallest driver I need to select durring PDW to ensure it will work on all systems?

Live long an Program
Thanks

PDW is probably including mdac.exe, which holds all the database driver information. It is about 5 or 6 megs, I think. I don't know how to distribute and install just the one driver. I believe you get the entire package with mdac. If you figure out how to include just the one, let us know.
