IIS Server - HTTP 500 - Internal server error [Archive]

Okay, I have read all the fixes for this error, but have applied them even if it was not what I needed. I got my IIS 5.0 server (Windows 2000) up and running ( I dont know how), now out of no where it is down. I get the error message

HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Internet Explorer

It is not a ASP scripting error, I was just using the server last night. Any help, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go to the Services Manager in the Control Panel and make sure that the IIS is actually running.
