Upgrading to asp.net?

I manage a few IIS servers but have been hesitant to upgrade to .NET. Does upgrading to .NET effect the current asp.dll in any way that would cause my current apps not to work properly? Has anyone seen any issues from upgrading? I know there is alot of extra power in ASP.NET that would come in very handy, but at what cost I wonder. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've had ASP.NET installed for quite awhile and I have not seen any difference in my "old school" asp scripting.

They use two entirely different interfaces, asp.dll and aspnet_filter.dll. Neither one will interfere with the other. When we started to switch over to .NET we were forced to maintain some older ASP pages, however they work seamlessly with the newer, ASP.NET pages.
