Hi all,

I want to put some data on client's computer (no bad intention!)when the client clicks on a button in the webpage. How can I make this possible?

Your going to have to use Cookies. I believe you can use
Javascript or PHP for this, among other languages.

The problem comes when they don't let you store them. You can
set that option in most webbrowsers.

Try a Google (http://www.google.com) search. :)

You can access cookies via JS using the document object to let and get the cookie property.
document.cookie = "moooo!";

A nice guide to anything in JS can always be found in the JS Reference from Netscape -- try Netscape Reference (http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/communicator/jsref/doc1.htm#1010655)
