I have created a setup for my program using Package and Deployment Wizard. The program uses a 3rd party OCX called ActiveSkin.Ocx. I have this OCX registered on my computer, but I'm not being able to install it on another computer, even using regsvr32. Following error:
DLLRegisterServer in C:\Windows\System\ActiveSkin.Ocx failed
Return code was: 0xc0000005
Can anyone help me??

Do you have a license to distribute this component to others? If
so, you will need to get tech support from the company. They
might have a special method of registering it as a security
measure to keep it from being spread around illegally.

Thinker, I have got the license and I've already contacted the company but they said that they've not encountered such a problem before.
Have YOU ever seen anything like this?
by the way, if you just try and tinker around with the computer then sometimes the OCX gets registered by itself, I dont know how.......!

I have never seen this error. Did you give that error code to the
tech support? Since they wrote the ocx, they should know what
the error code means. BTW, are you using VB5 or VB6? Do you
know if the DLL was written with C++ or VB?
