I have an ASP project that runs fine on my machine. My boss doesn't want to put it on the server yet but wanted me to set it up for him on his local machine. He has IIS running but I can't get my ASP pages to come up. He is using Windows 2000 and it is installed on his D drive. If I put "localhost" in the internet explorer address bar it doesn't recongize it. I used his IP address and was able to get to a HTML page but the ASP pages still will not come up. It gives an Application Server Error. Does anyone have an idea of what I'm missing?
Also, how do I get localhost to point to \Inetpub\ wwwroot? It's been automatic on all the computers I have worked on before.
