Telephone Control Center

I am building a system for a hotel and i want to be able to to include the following application inside. I have a database table with a list of countries, the area codes and the price per minute. I want to be able to recognise the phone number that the customer is dialing and calculate the price of the phonecall. If anyone has any suggestions on this or knows from where i should start, please help.

My question, just for curiousity is how you're going to monitor the phones? Do they have a system controlled by a computer?. Anyway, here's a the results of a search I did that I think that will give you a push in the right direction:

Apparently the MSCOMM.VBX is what you will probably need to use.
