Creating invoice

Hallo there!
I´m working with an order entry system, and I want my customers to be able to design/create there own invoice's. After that I will fill the fields from my VB program.
Do you know if there is a report writer to buy that can handle this or do you know if this is possible to do from VB.

Crystal reports has the ability to create ad hoc reports and save them for future use. I use Crystal 8 and one license costs $900. It will take some learning but what doesn't.

If you are using an ACCESS database, the user can design their reports within access. You can then use the report in
VB. Videosoft used to make a control that allowed you to use access reports. They recently merged with APEX though so I'm not sure if they still make it. Look up www.componentone.com

Also, videosoft made a product called VSVIEW (I think) which was pretty good. I'm sure that the new company still supports it.

Alternatively, you could just have the user write the report in HTML.
