Excel DDE question....

Hi all - perhaps someone can help me !

I'm trying to subtotal data on the fly with a live DDE link, as it is updated. For example, each time the numerical value in a cell ( call it A1 ) changes (the DDE link is live & continuously changes), then this new value is added to a seperate total (which is kept in another cell, say B1 ) of all the values recorded so far in A1.
I thought it would be easy............???

I just started programming in VBA and have a similar problem getting DDE links to initiate a program. Did you ever get a solution to your problem?
