Tell me more

I have made several games in VB but some of the more ambitious ones simply do not work due to VB's limitations, I know C++ but VB is my language of choice.

How does Direct X tie in with VB ?

What is Direct X syntax like ?

What good books or tutorials would you recommend me ?

I'm no expert as far as direct X goes but i am currently using it. There are 2 very good sites for tutorials that you should read wich are dx4vb and voodoovb. i dont have the actual address on hand (i usually just type in the name at google.com and use their links) but you should find these tutorials helpful.
