finding Environement variable ProgramFiles

Hello there
how can i find the %ProgramFiles% variable of a system and assign it to variable of my own.
i have done a serch but i haven't found exactly what i need or i haven't understood what i found.

Using the Environ$ method you can get any environment variable:

Environ$("ProgramFiles")

it worked just fine
