Excel: Generating Large Sheets

When generating a excel sheet via DDE from Visual Basic Program the system stops at about 6000 rows (at about 6 columns). It seems a buffer (or something else) is not large enough.

Any ideas?

is it 65000 or 6000 ?

The known fact is that one sheet can hold only 65000 rows

Sorry, but it is 6.000.
The is no error message reporting an overflow or other problems. The System just stops...
