When a user on an XP computer has a skin enabled on their computer, the buttons, scrollbars, etc. are changed to match the skin. Other programs (Internet Explorer, ...) get these styles too. But my VB programs stay the same. Is there a way I can get my VB programs to match the style on an XP computer?

They should change... have you subclassed any of the controls, or used a skinning control like vb skinner?

Do a search on the forum for "manifest", you need to distribute a manifest file with your exe to make your program inherit the XP visuals.

I got it to work. Thanks everyone. I didn't realize it was that simple.

Wait...the styles don't get applied to progress bars or sstab controls (tabctl32.ocx -- this is easier to use in design time). Do I have to do something extra for it to work on these or is it not possible?
