Icon Files?

Here's my problem:

When I try to specify the ICOn I want to use for my VB6 project it says the file type is invalid. I am trying to use a .ICO file. Is this a glitch in VB6 or am I doing something wrong here?

Can you see the icon representation of this .ico file in the file explorer?

You can not use all Icon, because when the color e.g. to TrueColor or Highcolor is set for the icon VB doesn't allow it.

i have the same Problem it works for the Form Icon, but when I will add a Resource icon I get a Error Message. I had made the Icons in a different programm as IMAGEDIT.
