Just getting started on my first VB.Net app and I have a question. My app is displaying employee records from an Access database, one record at a time. The main form consists of labels bound to their database fields.
My problem is this: In the database, the name of the person is divided into three fields, firstName, middleName, and lastName. I would like to use one label on my form to display the information in those three fields. I can't figure out how to specify that lblName should be bound to the firstName, middleName, and lastName fields in the database. If you could tell me how to do this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

.Net questions should be directed to our .Net forum www.dotnetforums.net

But generally to do this you would concatenate the fields in an SQL statement that opens the table

SELECT FirstName & " " & MiddleName & " " & LastName AS FullName FROM tblNames

Then your label would be bound to the Field FullName
