problems adding resource editor add-in

I'm trying to add a resource file to my project but I don't have the resource editor. I read the help files and they say to go to the add-in manager, but when I go in there I don't have anything that says resource editor add-in. Actually I only have 4 choices in the add-in menu and they are all loaded.

I'm running VB6 sp5 is there something I haven't installed correctly? what can I do?

Make sure resedit.dll exists (VB98\Wizards) and is registered.

Regsvr32 rededit.dll


Having done that, open a new instance of VB6 and see if it comes up. If not, add this line to you vbaddin.ini in \windows (\winnt)

ResEdit.Connect=1
