Inventory?

I have been having trouble with my inventory in the RPG im programming. It takes up too much code and is very tedious. If anyone out there has a good quick inventory system that woeks well plz let me know. Thanks!

Well, how many items are in your game, and are you using arrays for each individual items? I'm not too good with all this stuff, I'm kind of a begginer, but I would use a bunch of little sub routines where you display arrays, if that helps, good, if it doesn't, sorry.
