FILE MISSING? can someone help

hi everybody i'm a new member on the board.how are you people doing?

i have this problem

i'm trying to install a 6.0 polygamy patch for the MSN 6.0 beta version

it works perfect on my computer before but yesterday i reinstalled windows XP , now when i try to instal the polygamy patch it gives this error :

component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid.


how do i get this program to work...? i downloaded visual basic 6 ,visual basic 5 ...

can someone help?

i tryed installing the file but i still get the same error... :confused:

just two days ago before i re-instaled XP it worked perfect, now i keep getting this error everytime i try to instal an msn tool.

sugestions
