Shortcut on Desktop

Hi Group,

I am creating a VB installation file with the "Wise Installasion" program.

Does anyone know how to create a shortcut on the desktop with the Wise program.

When the program is installed, shouldn't you just be able to right click and Send To Desktop? Or are you attempting something more complex?

Hi Mike,

What I am trying to do is take that step away from the end user. So after the program has been installed they have the icon on the desktop waiting for them to start the program.

Hi Jeff,

I use Wise Installation System 9.

Under the "Installation Details" section there is an option for shortcuts.

Under there you can add a shortcut to be created on the desktop.
