Stupid question wich give me headache

At work, someone had a database wich contained a big table(4000 rows and over)... to send via e-mail, he splitted the table into smaller ones and created smaller databases with each one.

His problem, wich I aint able to solve, is that the smaller databases are not smaller at all since windowsis giving them the same rating in "Ko" or bytes.

Why?

this may sound like a stupid answer to a stupid question but, if you try to compact the databases (you can actually do that with code. contact me to recieve that code) then they will become smaller (hopefully)

If you are using DAO then try the Compact database method to reduce the size.
It is helpful and removes all spaces and other undesired spaces.

Thank you guys, that's exactly what I did. Dunno, maybe I was tired yesterday.
