If you did not reinstall VB, try to do so. You can also copy API Viewer from the CD and register it.

To *try* to register an API viewer you can do the following:

1. Open regedit (Start->Run->Regedit) and to to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Visual Basic\6.0\Addins
2. Add the following sub key: APIDeclarationLoader.AddInDesigner
3. Add binary CommandLineSafe value and set it to 0
4. Add string Description value and set it to #354
5. Add string FriendlyName and set it to #353
6. Add binary LoadBehavior value and set it to 3
7. Add string SatelliteDllName value and set it to apiload.exe

This is the values on my machine.

At last my Api viewer is back , I didn't seem to know how much I needed it until is not their, since my vb cd is missing i've had to create a shortcut on my desktop and flick to that everytime (which is definatly slower and trouble some)

I used you last bit of help adding it straight to the registry

Thanks for your help.
