Do VB programs work on Windows Me?

I've been trying to get a program of mine to install on a friend's computer. It kept saying that her files were out of date, no matter how many times she tried to update them and restart her computer. Then she told me that she's running Windows Me. I figure that's probably the problem but I wanted to be sure.

Can Windows Me run Visual Basic 6 made programs? Is there something special that needs to be done so it can?

Yes, it can run them. Depending on what you have included in your
install package, it might be trying to install an older version of some file
which is causing this problem. You will have to inspect all the files it is
trying to install and figure out what one is most likely the problem. If
the program is a database one, you might have an older version of
mdac_typ.exe in the install. That could definitely give this error.
