Office progs

I am using VBA code in my program that will use the MS Word spell check. This won't work without MS Word installed on the users computer, will it? What is the chance that it will be there?

I would not count on your users having word. I slave word as well to do spell checking but it is for internal use and word is on the pc's. I downloaded a spell checker that uses a dll you could include with your app to ensure that your users can use it. I have not used it myself so I do not know if it is any good or if you can use it without permission. Have a look to see if this will meet your needs.

You can add it, but you can't redistribute it. That's a no no as far as MS goes. They want your end users to buy Word too. I'm not 100% certain but that goes for all the Office Suite.
