OK I need help fast! I wrote an application and then use the Package and Deployment Wizard and created the setup files. When I ran the setup.exe at work it ran through almost all the .dll's and .ocx's except for the MSVBVM60.dll. It said the system files aren't up to date and it exited the installation. So I went into the support file and used the executable that it had in the there. Everything ran fine. Until today! My program window is set to a certain size and when I make changes on my laptop and move them over to my work computer it won't change the sizes. And then I had a guy installing Microsoft Project on my PC at work and its cutting all the dialog boxes short and in half.

What have I done?! I reloaded the previous .dll files except for OLEPRO32 and OLEAUT32 because they were in use. And I also didn't load COMDLG.ocx. The program ran fine after that, but the Microsoft Project install is still not working. Could the .ocx file be the problem?

Thanks in advance. mp4jc@aol.com

What service pack do you have for VB6? If not sp5 then get it. Once
you have it installed then redo the whole package process.
You didn't say what version of windows was on the target PC, but XP
does come with the VB6 SP5 runtimes already installed. If you have
some good virus detection software now might be a good time to try it
too.
