DataGrid says "no license"

Hi, I have VB 5.0, Learning Edition. I want to put a DataGrid on my form, but when I try to do so I get an error message "License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment", but according to the documentation, DataGrid SHOULD be valid in this edition. I've tried re-installing, but no joy. Any hints / tips / workarounds (Other than just continuing to use the FlexGrid instead, as I have been doing)
