Do I have COM experience?

When a job site says they are looking for someone with COM experience, what exactly does that mean? Does connecting to a database through ADO count? Is creating a DLL considered COM or is it only OCX creation? I have created DLLs and once I purchased an OCX component and modified it a little but haven't created one from scratch. Just wondering,

If they are talking about VB it is creating ActiveX DLLs, EXEs, OCXs. It means understanding COM, the compontent object model. It means understanding Interface Inheritence.
