Where is that genius PWNettle? His last post was on 7-20-01. It would be a great loss if he left us!
Hope to see your handle again Paul.

JDT orufet 08-13-2001, 11:23 PM That's a good point.....vacation, maybe? Hope he comes back soon Jacob Sheehy http://www.sheehy.ca The more I C, the less I see. Laurent 08-14-2001, 05:26 AM i agree with the "genius", this guy is great! he help me a lot in the past. hope he comes back soon I'll be among the best soon, very soon!!! PWNettle 08-24-2001, 09:29 AM Ack, I dunno about this "genius" thing. I try to be helpful and sometimes I think I am! For the record, I started working at home and sadly have had less time to visit the forum. I also just finished a move from AZ to NY for my wife to do an internship so life has been very busy. I'm hoping to visit the forums a little more now that things have settled and perhaps provide more of my extremely verbose responses and sample code! :) Another factor in my lack of posting lately is that this forum community has grown a great deal and there are so many more knowledgeable posters now than ever before. I find few unanswered threads to take a stab at these days! (I consider this to be a good thing - people are getting quality responses even faster than they did around 6 months ago). Cheers, Paul Laurent 08-27-2001, 05:36 AM hey PW glad your back! hope you like it in NY, i heard it could be a bit crazy out there so be carefull ! I'll be among the best soon, very soon!!! PWNettle 08-27-2001, 06:07 AM I'm in upstate New York (Capital District area) so it's pretty mellow. I don't think I could live in NY City. :) Paul JDT 08-28-2001, 01:33 AM Good to see you back. NY huh, should have went south to PHX. I bet your pay doubled after getting out from under Coconino County pay rates images/icons/smile.gif Although the cost of living is higher the pay in NY is far greater than Flagstaff. I lived there for four years (wife in college) and could not wait to move. Don't be a stranger. JDT PWNettle 08-28-2001, 05:25 AM Actually, JDT, I'm still telecommuting for Coconino. My wife and I are only in NY for 7 months while she does an internship. After that we're planning on moving to Phoenix (if she can find work there) where I'll probably begin looking for a higher paying job. Coconino isn't the highest paying job but it has its perks - like working from home and working with/for good people (the director of my dept is a good friend, my supervisor is incredible, and my coworkers are very competent and good to work with).
