Post Children could not be evaluated when creating a new XPathDocument

guys,

i'm having problems when creating a new xpathdocument. it is when i encounter a "children could not be evaluated" message right after i execute the code below:

xPathDoc = New XPathDocument(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("MyDocument.xml"))

Please advice.

Thank you.

Hi, can you post us a sample of the XML you are using? I didn't encounter this error. Why are you using XPathDocument? You may have more luck posting in the ".NET File I/O and Registry" forum but I'll have a go!

Here is the sample xml file.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<countries>
<country name="INDIA">
<state>Andhra Pradesh</state>
<state>Arunachal Pradesh</state>
<state>Assam</state>
<state>Bihar</state>
<state>Chandigarh</state>
<state>Chhattisgarh</state>
<state>Dadra and Nagar Haveli</state>
<state>Daman and Diu</state>
<state>Delhi</state>
<state>Chhattisgarh</state>
</country>
<country name="MAXICO">
<state>Aguascalientes</state>
<state>Baja California</state>
<state>Baja California Sur</state>
<state>Campeche</state>
<state>Chiapas</state>
</country>
</countries>

I used the xpathdocument in tandem with ajax.
