Default <form> tag valid specifications

Hi
I'm writing a program that identifies forms within a file (great project for me ) and I thought that since I'm doing this, I should need all valid values for the tag.
Like the location -- like what does it mean when you have
location = "../dir" or if location = "www.site.com/dir/" is valid or not.
Thanks!
