in VB6, if i want use

MSComm1.CommPort = 21,

what can i do?

[ USB serial communication port (COM21) ]

vb shouting is appealing. want use com1 to com12.

can't we use from 13+ ?

You can create a patched copy of MSCOMM32.OCX with a higher limit. It's a 1 byte change.

My application is a PIC32 USB CDC project.
with hyperteminal or any other communication program can establish.

Proposed as a method, with modified MSCOMM32.OCX
comport=21 was adopted as the port nr.

for output, MSComm1.Output = Text2.Text & vbCrLf , it goes. Ok, working.

However, for the data,
Text1.SelText = MSComm1.Input never receiving, in MSComm1_OnComm().
All MsComm1 parameters are correct.
