i am making a chat room, kind of like the ones in AIM. how would i have it so when one person enters text to say something, that it sends to everyone. do i need everyone connected to everyone on the same port? please explain what i need to do for every1 to be connected to every1 else, and what to do to send the text to everyone.

thanks

Everyone connects to a host, which has a WinSock listening on whatever the designated post is. Then, rather than accepting the connection on ConnectionRequest(), it makes a copy of itself and has that copy accept the connection. Then, in the DataArrival bit, you cycle through the array of WinSocks, sending the recieved data back with whatever heading you need to show who its from. Thats a brief bit; you'll need to look up loading controls into a control array, etc.
