Probably you have downloaded old version of one of the vb6 dll file or I think you have not installed one of the dll components
(I am not sure)

i am not sure but if i am not mistaken data can only be use or is commonly use in Lower databases or access 97. since you are using access 2000 i would recommend ADO.

It would help to see the code you are using if possible to open the database and populate the msflexgrid.

Private Sub Command1_Click()

Dim sq As String
sq = "select * from move_out where Account_no =10 "
Data1.RecordSource = sq
Data1.Refresh -----------(The Error Occur Here (run-time error 525 ,data access error )

End Sub

Private Sub Form_Load()

Set db = DBEngine.OpenDatabase("F:\Taha\Taha\Database\data.mdb")
Set mo = db.OpenRecordset("Move_Out")
Set Data1.Recordset = mo

im using DAO3.6
msflexgrid connecet it manualy from properties to data1

Is the account number field in the database a string or a number?

You can only use wildcards with text type fields, not numbers.

As cuber killua mentioned, the adodc is an outdated technology. I don't believe that it will work correctly with any Access version past Access 97. If you are using Access 2000, I believe that is where your problem lies.
