Default Enter date manually in datepicker

Hello All,

Excel beginner here.

I have created a datepicker in excel.

What I'm looking for is, to add a helper box like textbox or label (or something similar)on the userform ,wherein, the user manually enters date which then gets selected in the calendar.

If this is possible can you provide me with a code.

I have searched the net for possible answers but couldn't find anything relevant.

Your assistance will be appreciated.

Can you explain a little more ?
Is it your own calendar that you created ?

If I understand correctly, I think you're going the wrong way...
If you want to make sure the date is in the good format, you should show the calendar first where the user chose a date and then you write it in a textbox or label with the format you need...

Thanks for responding.

What I'm looking for is completely opposite to what you have stated.
(Yes, I know that's weird)

Idea is to allow the user to enter date manually which then gets selected in the calendar. Can this be achieved in anyway possible.

I have looked all over the net but all I came across is what you stated, which is to select date from the calendar and write it to a textbox or label.

It's difficult to help with any code if we don't have access to your calendar. Also, check out the following link:
Excel Tips: Put a Calendar Date Picker on an Excel Worksheet
I think it is close to what you're trying to do, which is enter a date and the macro takes you to that date in the calendar. Apparently Excel has this functionality built in.
Look it over and then if you don't find what you need then ask questions, but you'll probably need to provide some code or something so we can see the calendar.
