Nice game... the physics are a little twiggy though (jumps too high, and not that far). I am seriously impressed though.

BTW I have xp, and it ran nice and smooth

Thanks for helping out patmac1. I wasn't able to reply immediately.

To Zerolimit:

If I'm not mistaken, there's a Visual Basic Learning Edition. The catch is that you can't compile an EXE and you can only use one form. It's free (I think) although I don't know if there's a version 6 of it around.
How would you get the sprites DIRECTLY from the game?

Great job bro.

Either by saving lots of screenshots and compiling the sprites from those, or by using a specialized graphics ripper, which would pull the sprites out of the game's data file.

Hey man, I tried downloading it and running it but it gives me an automation error. How can I fix that?

Thumbs up

Go HotRodX! This little (?) chunk of code looks very promising.

The gravity is brutal, and "hold button" acceleration is awfully lagged, but the graphics are exquisite. It took just fine to my 10-button gamepad, too.

The music is great. Do you have any sounds from the original, too?

If you were looking for encouragement, you sure got it.

BTW Runs fine on my XP. But then again, I have a good processor.
