Default Dinosaur Game

Hi, I'm creating a dinosaur search engine and I am trying to figure out how to make it so when the user types in a dinosaur name and it is slightly wrong a message box will appear saying did you mean "Example". For example if they type in Raptorr, it will say Did you mean "Raptor"? I am slightly new to VB6 and am wondering how I can do this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Comparing strings is not a trivial matter. You'd need access to a list of possible words before you can make any sort of suggestion as to what the user meant to type.
What if the user spoke a different language and there was no word 'raptor' in their language and they hit random keys?
What if they type in Bcdefghi? What do you think they meant to type?

The simplest way to get this work would involve you automating Word with VB to get access to Word's spellchecker. However, that's going to give you tons of words that you probably aren't going to need in a dinosaur game. E.g. Raptore could give you Rapture, Raptor, Rupture, etc. and you'd have to sort through all of the results to find one that matches your dinosaur words (if any match).
But, regardless, I'd look at automating Word with VB - add a reference to Microsoft Word if you have Office installed on the computer. Otherwise, this project will probably become all sorts of complex.
