Default Golf Game

I'm trying to add a moving picture a golf ball that has the word "Bogey" on it and if you touch it, a message box pops up and says you lost... I'm also trying to add a countdown, which can be seen in the top corner. I've only been using VB for 2 months and this is for a final project in school. We just never went over that stuff so I need the help. Thanks in advance.

What does "touch it" mean?
1. If you click on it with the mouse, pop up the message box?
2. If some other thing you're moving in some manner comes in contact (image intersects with image), then you've touched it?

A countdown can be quite simple. Just declare a variable at form scope, set it to some initial value.
Use a timer control with a desired interval and each time the timer ticks, decrement the value and display it in a label.

A timer will only fire at specific intervals, so the count down period may be quite a bit slower than what you've selected, depending on what you select.
If you want to have a more accurate countdown, then I set a variable to the current time plus how long I wanted the countdown to take (let's call it the "zero time").
Then each time the timer control ticks, display the difference between the "zero time" and the current time. That way, if you want the countdown time period to be 1 minute, it will be 1 minute, not 1 minute and 9 seconds, or some other arbitrary length of time greater than a minute.
