Default VB6 and VS 2008 side-by-side?

I want to run some code written in C++, developed with MS Visual Stusio 2008.

So I'm considering installing MS VS 2008 Pro edition - but will that compromise my (absolutely vital) VB6 environment?

Has anybody had success and/or problems with this?

I had MS VS 2008 Express Edition installed on my old PC alongside VB6 without issues.

I wouldn't think that 2008 Pro would create any issues, but cannot confirm.

Currently running VS Community 2015 alongside VB6 without issues.
