Question VB.Net DirectX9 Handle Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently working my way through "Managed DirectX 9 - Graphics and Game Programming" by Tom Miller.

I've come across a slightly unusual little problem. When comparing the display of my code, compared to the example that came with the book, I noticed that when the the example was expanded to full screen (from a windowed render) the boxes that were displayed, had very crisp sharp edges. In my code, they had very jaggy edges.

After trying everything, I located the problem. When setting up the device, the example just used 'me' as the renderWindow Handle, whereas I'd used, Me.Handle

Both are excepted and appear fine until the window is enlarged.

Why is this?

The main reason is that I was hoping to write a vb.net wrapper for DirectX and obviously will find it a bit tricky if I can't pass it a handle and get a decent render.

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
